gasoline station and full service repair shop

Lenny's Service Center was opened September 14, 1972. The business was started over 25 years ago by Lenny Forziati, Sr. He originally leased the building from Gibbs Oil Company and sold BP gasoline. After a few years, he purchased the building and land, continuing to sell BP gas.

In 1980, when the contract expired, we became an Amoco station. Then in 1986 Mobil Oil Corporation bought out Amoco and the Mobil sign was raised. In February 1992, it was decide that the business could offer the customers better prices and service without a major oil company. In March, the Mobil sign was taken down and the prices were lowered.

We still sell premium quality gasoline, but without a restrictive contract we are able to buy our products less expensively and pass the savings on to the customers.

During the summer of 1992 the station was totally remodeled. Reconstruction was completed August 1992. A canopy with full lighting was added. The pumps were changed to comply with the newer Stage II vapor recovery requirements. New fiberglass/steel composite tanks were installed with a Total Containment spill protection system. And we also added a Veeder-Root computerized monitoring system which warns of any contamination or leakage.
